About:
I am a local artist with a variety of styles predominantly using watercolour and acrylics. The acrylic paintings are generally in bright ,vibrant colours wheras the watercolours are more of a moody atmospheric nature. I use references from the Derbyshire landscape and from the coast.
Some of the work has an abstract or semi-abstract feeling including deconstructed landscapes. These deconstructed paintings present the landscape in a unique way by distorting the topography and bringing together different elements.
