I am a Derby based artist who predominantly creates multi-layered, mixed media original prints.
The inspiration for my work comes from observing the environment around me.
My training as an illustrator is apparent in the way in which I will often use one subject to create a series of images that often work together as a narrative, before moving on to the next subject. I enjoy researching, exploring and experimenting with new ideas, subjects and materials.
My current work is inspired by my love of the sea, particularly a yearly trip to the beautiful beaches with their driftwood and pebble strewn coves of mid Wales.
I reproduce some of my images onto gift items, such as coasters and jewellery.
