About:
I am a full time artist born in West Yorkshire and based in Leeds. Although no formal training in art, I have always had a desire to paint from early childhood. After leaving school I took the conventional route in an office, however in may spare time continued to paint for my own enjoyment.
In 2014 I decided to paint full time and make it my living. This allowed me time to develop my skills.
I have paintings in galleries around Yorkshire, and regularly have the privilege of accepting commissions.
My art is inspired by the beautiful and diverse coast and countryside of this country, in particular those places where I have experienced peace and tranquility. My aim is to convey these emotions to the viewer through my painting allowing them to take a moment to explore the scene and gain the feeling of space which I have experienced.
