I’m Karen Johnson and I work from home in Allestree, creating colourful flower artwork for my small business, Millie Moth. I have 2 distinct styles - vibrant alcohol ink paintings and quirky multi-media digital collages. I also teach my alcohol ink technique at workshops.
My work is inspired by a love of my wild garden. When I am there I catch my breath, slow down, and feel an inner joy burst out of me. The colours I use help me to express and share this joy and elegant curved lines portray the flow and energy of all growing life.
