HI I'm Marie Warren, I reassessed my life and in 2018 deciding it was time to turn my hobby into a small business so “Mazzasmonkeys” was born making unique shelf sitting sockys from new socks, hollowfill, button and beads and trims and scraps of fabric as embellishments.
I create my ‘sockys’ in my garden studio (shed) In Milford and I find inspiration for my work within nature and my own free running imagination. I make creatures such as sloths, mice, elephants and many more as well as the making Dudes and Dudesses from the amazing number of different socks out there.
I have no artistic qualifications and am self-taught. My pictures are of the sockys that have escaped into the garden.
