Ali Jeffries, previously a glass artist had to change medium when her Grandson who lives with her became a toddler. Having previously used art papers and beads with her glass work she began to experiment and the love affair with collage began.
Ali manipulates and embellishes paper to bring her ideas to life, by creating sumptuous textures and colours, whether in wall art or a pendant the size of your thumb nail it all comes together to catch and reflect the light, drawing you right in.
Making Broken Beautiful refers not only to the original medium but to how essential creativity can be to healing and wellbeing, something she also promotes and helps others with.
