I am a family, pet and wildlife artist, living in Derby. I am thoroughly enjoying pastel portraits- capturing the sound of an animal (wild or tame) or person through the beautiful medium of pastels. I want to show a moment, a texture, a soul.
I particularly adore trying to represent the soft fur, shine of scales, deep meaningful eyes of the wildlife around us and have been fortunate enough to be a finalist in Sketch For Survival 2024 for my piece ‘Holding On’, where all funds raised went to supporting endangered species.
