Textile Artist
I'm a textile artist working with recycled and vintage fabric. I use appliqué (collage with fabric) to create pictures, which I turn into one-of-a-kind textile products.
All designs are my own, usually animal-based, and brought to life using the variety of different colours, patterns and textures within the fabric. Somewhere along the way I also came up with the idea of converting old eggcups into tiny pin cushions.
Each one uses at least five different fabrics, giving me another chance to indulge my passion for mixing colours and patterns - albeit on a much smaller scale.
