My work is a hybrid of art and photography, combining artistic skills and photo imagery. I emphasise the natural beauty of botanicals to create bold art pieces that capture the strong lines, structures and colour palettes of a variety of flowers and foliage.
Each piece starts life on watercolour paper and is delicately built up using a wide range of mediums from watercolours, acrylics, Caran D’Ache pencil crayons & black pen.
My work is about ‘bringing the outside in’ and draws inspiration from rambling English country gardens. My fine art giclee prints are available in a variety of sizes and as greeting cards.
