Ingrid is a fulltime watercolour and mixed media artist and tutor in North West Leicestershire.
Ingrid’s inspiration comes from observing both the large and small changes to the landscape throughout the seasons. It may be the sunlight filtering through the bright spring leaves in a bluebell wood, dragonflies darting by, or simply a wildflower growing in the hedgerow that catches her eye.
Ingrid’s paintings are based upon the feelings, atmosphere, and experience of being in the natural environment rather than a direct copy of a particular time or place.
Ingrid has framed and mounted original paintings, limited edition and open edition prints, and a range of professionally printed greetings cards.
