Ceramic Artist
I am a ceramic Artist based in Willington, Derbyshire. My ceramic work is concentrated on functional and decorative forms, inspired by the natural environment.
I enjoy creating organic forms by taking inspiration from elements of structure, colour, texture and pattern from the natural environment and nature. To achieve this, I use a variety of handbuilding techniques including pinching, coiling, molding and slabbing.
I want my pieces to be aesthetically pleasing, so I use complimentary glazes and different clays to achieve this.
