About:
I create unique pictures in fabric and stitch inspired by the wild corners, of the Derbyshire countryside. Hedgerow pictures are created with paint, fabric scraps, threads and dried fragments trapped between fabric layers. Details added using free machine embroidery.
Some of my new work in botanical (eco) contact prints has been mounted and some used to make a range of sketchbooks. I also make books with covers made from specially printed fabrics featuring details from my work. My insect brooches are made in free machine embroidery worked on soluble fabric.
