I am a Peak District artist, living and working just outside Hartington. The main focus of my work is the ever-changing landscape around me, which I find endlessly fascinating. I find that the immediacy of acrylics helps me capture the light and mood of the day.
I also love to paint portraits, using oils as well as acrylics, and I am very happy to take commissions. In my work this year I am planning to explore the relationship between figures and their surroundings, particularly in relation to conveying a sense of personal space in different situations.
