About:
I have painted and drawn during most of my life, studied art and craft at college and taught it for over thirty years. At times I worked with both the art and textile advisors for Derbyshire. Since taking early retirement I have been lucky enough to experience expert tuition in many different aspects of art which I have enjoyed.
I use different media, experimenting with new ideas, styles and textures. I particularly enjoy using curved shapes which have become a trade mark in my more abstract works. As usual I look forward to the Arts Festival, displaying my work and, most of all, meeting people.
