Stable Glass was formed out of their creative love of exploring glass. It is their serious hobby - and one that they like to share.
Cutting and working with sheets and pieces of glass, they create designs that then undergo hours of high temperatures in the kiln to fuse into one piece. Moulds are then used to make the flat pieces into bowls and other shapes.
Sarah uses blocks of colour to create light catching pieces of art, and recycles bottles into cheese boards and nibble trays.
Helen makes pictures out of glass, making bowls and candle holders, jewellery and other decorations.
Stable Glass offers a variety of products and are open to receive any requests for commissions, based on your theme, colour scheme or topic of choice.
Their work has been shown from Belper to Cornwall, and has ended up in places as far as Canada and Abu Dhabi!
Stable Glass has a Facebook page showing all of their latest creations. You can get in touch with them via Facebook, or by email: firstname.lastname@example.org – they would love to hear from you.
