Generally, I batch produce my collections on a small scale from my workshop at West Studios.
I also work to commission, producing scale models in silver as well as making large scale work for galleries or exhibitions.
I undertake repairs and refashion and repurpose customers’ gold or silver jewellery in to something more modern.
I enjoy the challenge of making things in metal and my work is a creative medley of my many loves such as: texture, colour, pattern, unit construction and hammers (you can never have too many).
I like to mix ‘the old with the new’ by using traditional goldsmithing and silversmithing techniques in combination with modern commercial fabrication methods such as acid etching and laser cutting.
What I love about my job is: developing an idea from a sketchbook concept to actual 'thing' that is retailing in a shop, or seeing a piece of my work in an exhibition or gallery, to hearing a customer says how thrilled they are with their commission.
No two working days are exactly the same and I wake up every morning looking forward to the day’s work ahead.
